Corra Greyfletch

Corra is of the Greywold, sworn to the Rede since her fourteenth winter, and the best shot at the Lodge, though she will not say so and Huntmaster Garrow will not either, for fear of her head swelling. She had a brother, Aldo, ten years younger, whom she taught to string a bow. When the Raid came she was away in the north with a party tracking frost-wolves, and when she came home Aldo's bunk was empty. He had gone into Spider Hollow with Brenn, and he had written nothing in the Book of Last Tracks, because he meant to come back. She has not drawn a bow since. She sits under the antlers at the Antler & Ash and drinks very slowly, and she keeps an empty place on the bench beside her. The Greywold say that grief is a track like any other, and that it must be followed to its end, or it will follow you.
